Our Services

Initial Consultation in Our Waterford Office $175

This consultation lasts up to 90 minutes. We will take a full breastfeeding history, coach you through one or more feeding sessions, and assess the baby's weight. We can screen for tongue and lip tie, and perform a pre and post feeding weight if that is indicated or requested. We will provide you with written instructions to follow after the visit. There will be plenty of time for you to ask questions and discuss your concerns. After your appointment, we will communicate with your primary health care provider and/or the baby's health care provider as needed. Included in the fee for the consultation is two weeks of follow up via phone, text, or e-mail.

What about other insurance plans????

The Affordable Care Act dictates that breastfeeding supplies and support should be provided to patients without cost-sharing. We recommend that you contact your insurance company to determine coverage before your appointment. This script can help you talk to your insurance company.

All appointment fees are collected at the time of your visit. We will provide you with a Superbill to submit to your insurance company after the visit. You can submit this to your insurance company, and they will reimburse you directly. Depending on your insurance company (and your individual plan), the amount of the reimbursement can vary greatly. It is best to contact them before your appointment so that there are no surprises.

If you have a pre-tax health care expense account, all of our services qualify for reimbursement. We also accept credit cards from these accounts.
